The 2012 B1G field hockey conference tournament saw the host school, Iowa, take on the #1 seed Penn State Nittany Lions in the semifinals. Then, in the championship game, it was a rematch of the 2011 tournament final. Michigan, a youthful and resilient squad tried to take down PSU, the defending champs. BTN’s Lisa Byington with the call.
