Fitness has always been a part of my life.
I have a favorite 4-mile run down the lake path I love, or I go on a 16-mile bike ride, also along the lake path and south of the downtown area. “South” avoids tourist central. In fact, if you pedal or run a few miles in that direction, you would have no idea you’re just a stone’s throw away from one of the largest cities in the nation.
Even though I played two sports in college, I got away from conditioning for a while. In the last few years, I have made a greater commitment to eating better and exercising more.
It has made a difference on the inside and out.
